Mike Enahoro

Mike Enahoro, a beloved brother, uncle, husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather was born on june 18, 1939. He was a loving husband to Dr Susan Enahoro. During his life time, Mike touched many lives through his chosen career and calling. He worked as a Newscaster and Presenter at Radio Nigeria before joining the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) as a broadcaster and presenter for over 30 years and became a household name before he retired in 1980. He passed away at the age of 76 on Friday, 9th October 2015 after a brief illness.

Mike Enahoro, a multitalented and accomplished man was indeed a National treasure, he will be greatly missed.

Chioma Nnoli

Born: May 16, 1974 | Died: September 23, 2015 | Aged: 41

Chioma Nnoli was born on May 16th 1974 to Engr Godwin Chukwura Nnoli and Mrs Gladys Uche Nnoli. Chioma was a certified Project Management Professional, in 2006, she was the only African listed amongst the 25 Most Influential Women in Project Management as recognized by the Project Management Institute (PMI), USA.

A devout Christian who had an unwavering faith in God and was dedicated in her service to Him. She loved to travel and did so extensively in the US which she adopted as her “native Country”.

Chioma was a dedicated friend, loyal sister, wonderful aunt and daughter. Her death was unexpected when she died on 23rd September 2015 but it was not a surprise to God. She is survived by her father, brother and two sisters, uncles, aunties, cousins and nephews.

Dr.(Mrs.) Carolyn Fagha – Furo Hart

Born: December 16, 1941 | Died: November 30, 2015 | Age 74

Dr. (Mrs.) Carolyn Fagha-Furo Hart Umudjoro was born into the exalted family of late Mr. & Mrs. Austin Furo- Panye Uraiah Hart (of blessed memory) on the 16th December, 1941 in Bonny, Rivers state.

A voracious reader, essentially a book worm, she further attended Ashland University, Ohio, United States, where she obtained a degree in Bachelor of Arts, specializing in Child Education /Psychology. She then proceeded to obtain a degree of Masters of Arts in Organizational Theory and Behavior. To drive – home her thirst for knowledge and challenge her children to push themselves further, she further went on to bag a Doctor of Philosophy Degree in International Organisation at the same university.

She was warmly regarded by everyone who knew her as beauty and brains personified. Sis Caro, as she was fondly called, was with the Nigeria Police for a short time, where she was particularly passionate about developing young minds. She was a devoted Christian who loved God and the things of God with a passion that was contagious, she was also ordained a Reverend Evangelist in 1999 at the World United Pentecostal Churches. She was a surrogate mother to many and would be greatly missed by all. She passed away on 30th November 2015 at the age of 74.

Deaconess Modupe Ademide Ladipo

Born: December 31, 1925 | Died: December 22, 2015 | Aged: 90

Mrs Modupe Ademide Ladipo (nee Dada) was born in Ebute Metta on the 31st of December 1954. She was a member of RCCG, Olive Tree parish church since its early days in 1995.

After her retirement she spent more time working for and supporting the activities of the parish. She loved the Lord with all her heart and had a passion for His work, she was exceptionally dedicated to His service. Her kind, caring demeanor and leadership was unparalleled. She exhibited remarkable unique traits of cleanliness, neatness and attention to details.

Deaconess Ladipo trusted the Lord in the face of any adversity. She took each day in her stride, never complained, always full of hope, always cheerful. She walked through the blackest night with grace, peace and faith, never wavered in trusting the Lord. She was a great woman, and has gone to rest in the bossom of her Lord and Saviour Christ whom she loved so much. She will be missed early. She is survived by her husband and children.
